WHO - 2015 Global Road Safety Week

Since 2007 WHO has provided technical support to the Government of #VietNam to continuously improve its laws and regulations related to helmets for motorcyclists. For motorcyclists of all ages, the appropriate use of a helmet reduces the risk of death by 40% and the risk of serious head injury by 70%. Although progress still needs to be made, helmet wearing rates among children in Viet Nam have increased to 56%.  #SaveKidsLives
